[Poetic License] Even Stars Fall

You’re a star.

Even when you can’t see it,

Your light shines out far.

When they tell you “you can’t be” it,

You prove that you’re up to par.

Even when you can’t feed it,

Your drive inspires my heart.

You’re a star.

And when life gets hard,

You don’t know where to start,

And you feel like you’ve lost it all.

Just remember…You’re a star,

And even stars fall.

Even stars fall from the sky.

A shining beauty to the naked human eye.

Even stars fall from the sky.

Granting wishes to those who may never see you cry.

Even stars fall from the sky.

They see your twinkle, but never ask you why.

See, stars twinkle in the sky

Because they’re trying to see their own light.

So, remember that you’re a star,

And know that you’re not alone.

There are a million other stars

Looking for the light that is their own.

But even as they shine

Like the golden touch of Midas,

I’ll always find you glowing,

See, your shine is the brightest.

Even stars fall from the sky.

A shining beauty to the naked human eye.

Even stars fall from the sky.

Granting wishes to those who may never see you cry.

Even stars fall from the sky.

They see your twinkle, but never ask you why.

See, stars twinkle in the sky.

Because they’re trying to see their own light.

So, shine on, shine on.

But feel free to take a break.

I may bask in your shine,

But I’ll never know your heartache.

It’d be selfish of me to ask

That you shine forever for us all.

See, I know that you’re a star

And even stars fall.
